Hi everyone,

I am growing bored of EQ2, havent logged in more then 30 mins total last 2 weeks.

Anyways, I am going to start playing AOC, I didn't preorder but I will have the game the first week of release. I need a new world to CONQUER!!! lol and a new world to explore.

So, if anyone wants to band together and start a guild over in AOC I think that would be great. We could even call the guild "Risen Beyond"

i am waiting to see what the hubby wants to do, he has shown some interest in getting it.

Unless you have a very high end PC, I dont think its going to look too good. I will download a demo or something to test my rig. I can say that its very unlikely I will switch with all the time invested in my 3box toons.

Well Olfur, really my only issue is money. I just don't feel the desire to spend $50 on the game plus the sub fee (granted first month isn't free).

I walked away from EQ2 thinking I'd be fine quitting the game, but it only lasted 3 weeks. I got ahead of my schoolwork and finished off my finals. After that I ran some trial accounts for SWG and VG but sadly they couldn't hold my interest long term. I'm back in EQ2 now and it still feels a little hollow but that's moreso because RB doesn't exist anymore and not the game itself.

I'm just really undecisive with what I'd like to do for this summer lol

Get Battlefield 2142 so I can shoot you in the head with my Zhellar sniper rifle lol

I am still keeping Olfur but without raiding I dont think I will improve Olfurs gear or abilities much. Doing the same heroic instances over and over doesnt appeal to me atm.

I do have hopes for the future of EQ2 though, there should be an expansion in November, guild housing and the new skeleton models for all the races that will allow more varied armor designs. I will be holding out for that.

AOC will at least be a fresh start, I will keep you guys posted on how it plays.

Vanguard update #5 is supposed to be huge for performance, might take a look at that again at that time

I'll throw my quadcore at it and see how the game plays on that. If it's not too bad, I'll let you all know so you don't waste your money

Olfur and Nargron, that would be awesome to give an update on the game if you decide to play at launch.

Hehe-I am waiting for Warhammer Online to come out and give that a shot. I've been logging off and on to EQ2 as well; not much to do online so my time actually spent there is sporadic and limited at best. Befallen is pretty much dead as far as I'm concerned: the hardcore guilds are set with their peeps; I don't have the patience to join a "casual" guild who wants to step up into the big leagues and start from "0" again. So, its either a server transfer or wait and see what new life, if any, the next adventure pack brings to the game.
I've been playing a lot of Lord of the Rings Online and some Guild Wars as well for the PvP fix.

A best bud of mine is waiting for Warhammer and I will give it a shot with him. I'm also waiting for Aion with a few others

Until then I've joined Virulence to get VP access and the Mythical but other than playing with my good friend Bebuh the guild kind of sucks. It's too bad I can't play golf after dark because I'd much rather spend the nice summer nights outside my room.

Looks like Warhammer has pretty steep system requirements (probably going to need a GeForce 8600 or better and a 2.4 Ghz to run well).

hey guys =) im gonna buy age of conan the day it comes out heard from a friend of mine that its almost lag free its combat is amazing character creation is good and for you nargron there is nudity in brothels and bars hahaha

hehe-s'all right, 'cause I'm building another laptop online with both Dell and Alienware. I'm looking at the M1730 XPS laptop from Dell and going to Alienware's site later today to start a build there. However, I've been hearing rumors that Dell will phase out the XPS systems later on this year to allow Alienware to absorb all of their gaming PC business.(Dell did buy Alienware after all lol).
And, ya, I'll be giving AoC a shot as well...my buddies over here in NY and NJ are giving me the guilt trip about playing AoC. Won't be able to play it on the lappie I have now so I'll have to wait til my new baby comes in after I've decided who gets my money.

well decided to wait a few days see some other peeps response first as moneys tight atm with saving for vacation, hoping this guy at work who got it may have a buddy pass for me to check it out but will have to see how it goes, if any of yall get to play it tell me how it is? im hearin some really good things but not sure if i have the system to take that game on...
